John Boyd Dunlop invented the inflatable tire and opened his eponymous company in 1888. Bicycle companies were among the largest advertisers in the 1890s, and targeted most of their ads at women. This previously unrecorded poster by the unknown "WHW" is executed using flat colors and has a deceptively simple Art Nouveau style.
