Group of 3 early American images of New Orleans and Mississippi, comprising "[Destrehan] Plantation House, Mississippi," with a family group and an African-American attendant on the veranda; "House in the Garden District, New Orleans;" and the paddleboat Packet, R.J. Lackland (on which Mark Twain purportedly served as an apprentice or pilot). Arch-topped salted paper prints, each is 6 3/4x9 1/4 inches (17.1x23.5 cm.), on the original mounts, the first two with handwritten captions below the image area. 1850s
