Julian Eltinge was the most famous female impersonator of the early 20th century. He appeared in drag on Broadway in a number of plays including "The Fascinating Widow" (1911), "The Crinoline Girl" (1914), and "Cousin Lucy" (1915). This group includes:

Autograph Postcard Signed by Eltinge to Henry Winslow of the YMCA in Island Pond, VT, mailed from near Topeka, KS "en route Santa Fe," 26 July 1922, with accompanying transmittal envelope also signed by Eltinge.

"Plays and Players: Philadelphia's Leading Theatres," including the playbill for Eltinge in "The Fascinating Widow" on page [19], 17 February 1913.
