First printing of Ginsberg's work which won the National Book Award for Poetry in 1973, small quarto; bound in publisher's black and white printed wrappers (corners bumped, light rubbing to wrappers); 6 1/2 x 4 7/8 in.

Mind Breaths. Poems 1972-1977. The Pocket Poet Series, Number Thirty Five. San Francisco: City Lights Books, [1985]. Third printing, small quarto; bound in publisher's black and white printed wrappers (wrappers rubbed, some soiling); 6 1/4 x 4 3/4 in.

All four copies include an original ink drawing by Ginsberg on the title, preliminary blank, or front inside wrapper; three are signed, dated and inscribed to Russian writer and artist Dmitri Prigov (1940-2007). Prigov was a leading figure in the Russian Conceptualist movement who created sculptures from his poems, often writing them on discarded tin cans or inside old books which he would staple shut.
