Photographs and ephemera of the early Hollywood star.

Nazimova was a stage star even before emigrating from Russia to New York in 1905; she moved into film as an actress and producer in 1915. Famed for her many affairs with women in and out of Hollywood, she also became godmother to Nancy Reagan. This lot includes:

Studio portrait of Nazimova with embossed and inked stamps of photographer Maurice Goldberg, signed and inscribed "To Gladys Meyer, Nazimova."

Silver print photograph of Nazimova in the 1922 silent film of Oscar Wilde's "Salome."

Sheet music for Smith & Snyder's "The Brat, Dedicated to Nazimova . . . Inspired by the Motion Picture Production The Brat," illustratated with a photograph of the star. New York, 1919.
