A very good, richly-inked impression.

Abramovitz, born in Riga, Latvia, settled in New York after travelling and exhibiting widely in Europe during the 1910's. A member of the Parisian Societaire Salon d'Automne, Abramovitz worked with bold compositions, often with social or political overtones. From 1935 to 1939, Abramovitz created 18 prints for the Federal Art Project in New York.
